Dr. Johnson received his PhD in Neuroscience from the University of California, Los Angeles and his MD from the Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, in Chicago. He completed his residency in anatomic and neuropathology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore and his fellowship in forensic pathology at the State of Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Before joining Health Network Laboratories, Dr. Johnson was a medical examiner for the state of Kentucky. Dr. Johnson is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Neuropathology and Forensic Pathology, and is a member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and the National Association of Medical Examiners. Dr. Michael Johnson is a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of South Florida (USF), Morsani College of Medicine.
